Michigan Fishing Charters - Port Austin / Grindstone June 14th to July 25, 2010
Great fishing begins from the ports of Port Austin and Grindstone City in early spring when hungry trout and salmon roam the shallow waters of southern Lake Huron in search of baitfish. On May 1st, Michigan's Lake Trout season opens, and all the focus switches to the world class Lake Trout fishery that Grindstone, Michigan has to offer, with the catch being enhanced by a few Chinook, Steelhead, Walleye, and Whitefish. The calm winds and hot days of June and July continue to be phenomenal for Lake Trout, with steadily increasing catches of Walleye. After fishing, enjoy having your catch cooked for you at Captain Morgan’s Grindstone Bar and Grill.
Fishing Charter Rates are for 1-6 Persons
Morning – 6 Hours or limit catch. Trips run daily, beginning at dawn. Most popular!

It is strongly recommended to make your reservations as early as possible, because prime dates go quickly for each port.
A $100 deposit is required to guarantee a date in advance; Visa and Mastercard accepted.
Recommended items to bring; warm clothes, food, sunglasses, camera, and a cooler for your fillets. (All fish will be cleaned and bagged.)
